Davis Bunn, best selling author, has an exciting new book out this week. Here is my review of the book Hidden in Dreams. (If you would like to win a free copy, answer the question that follows my review, and I will put your name in the hat.)

“Once again, Davis Bunn has outdone himself. For readers of his first book in this series (Book of Dreams), be aware that Hidden in Dreams is doubly intense. Bunn is a master of “waste not, want not” mentality. Every page, every paragraph, every word is filled with meaning and tension. Hidden in Dreams is life changing to those characters in the book, and can be life changing for those who read it. Once you start reading, be ready to lay all else aside until Davis Bunn has pushed you to the final page. A person of orderly schedules, my life was totally disrupted until I finished this gripping new novel. You will not be disappointed!

“Dr. Elena Burroughs is desperately trying to rebuild her life: new location, new friends, and new job. But it seems her notoriety with all things dream related has dogged her steps and taken over her life – quite without her permission. How can a handful of people from different countries and professions and lifestyles have the same dreams, down to every detail? Is God trying to give a message that will save the world, or is this a man’s sinister plot to destroy our society as we know it? This is a great read with revelations and lessons all along the way, to say nothing of intrigue.”

(I received a complimentary copy of this book for review from Howard Books, a division of Simon & Schuster. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.)

And now for the question that will place your name in the drawing for a free copy of Hidden in Dreams:

Have you ever had a dream or vision about future events that later came true?

Just leave your answer including your name and email in a comment to this blog, so I can contact you if you win.

Most of my dreams and visions are for later in the end times. I will wait to see how accurate they were. God has also warned me about certain people through the years. Although they did not happen as seen, who knows what would have taken place if I had not heeded the warning.

No, I haven’t ever had that experience. But Davis’ new book sounds fascinating and I appreciate the opportunity to enter your drawing!

I once had a dream about a prayer group I was a part of. My dream was that we were all about God’s bigger plan, and that we were all like a bunch of people sitting around working on a gigantic puzzle. It was impressed on me that, this is the same as what God has for us in our life, we are all seeing things fit into place in our lives. I never saw that for the prayer group but continued to believe it for my own life.

A summer when I was in Elementary school my cousin and I, along with several neighborhood kids, were on our swingset and I was sitting on a ladder step for the sliding board. We had a conversation that was identical to my dream the night before. Additionally, fast forward to the year 2000. It was in the early morning hours shortly before the start of my day, I saw my boyfriend marry someone in an Arab country and I saw what she looked like. Additionally, I heard the telephone conversation he had when he told his mother about the marriage. That day I found out he was in an Arab country. When he returned alone and tried to get together with me, I questioned him on who he went to see and what he had done. He told me about an Arab friend’s sister, but did not mention any marriage. I got him to tell me what she looks like and it was the woman I saw in my dream, or probably a vision. He later admitted he married her.

Yes. God sent me a dream so I would be prepared for what happened.

I have had a lot of dreams of things that later I think “I vaguely remember this happening before.”

I don’t think I have had a dream experience like that but I have had situations arise where I believe God has given me an intuition or a nudge to ask a question that leads to truth that I didn’t even know was hiding. Sounds like a great book!

I have had “deja vu” moments when I would dream that I passed by a particular person I didn’t know walking in the street, or going to the refrigerator to get something, and a couple of months or a year and I would find that it came true :D

    As for dreams, not yet.

Yes, I have had a dream or vision about future events that later came true. It doesn’t happen often and when it did happen it wasn’t about something big like world events but rather something that would be meaningful only to me…

Yes, I have had a dream or vision about future events that later came true but it wasn’t anything big having to do with world events but something more personal that had meaning just for me…I guess to prepare me for what was to come.
